The Skill Builders HQ initiative is the first of its kind in Australia, and will launch in March 2021, operating from a specialised hub in Yatala with the support of Men’s Shed and Women’s Shed community organisations.

Skill Builders HQ is a unique group-based Social Enterprise that operates 7 days per week and provides opportunities for NDIS participants to work within a trading business while being fully supported by qualified Support Workers and industry professionals. Participants are supported to achieve goals and learn an array of skills as chosen by them to build independence, capacity and autonomy.

As a Social Enterprise, all trading profits from the Skill Builders HQ business go back to the participants themselves.

Expressions of Interest are now being taken for participation in the initiative and close on 1st April 2021.

N.B. Before commencement, a full Individual Profile will be completed for each Participant to get an accurate understanding of all support and health requirements, and to understand each person’s individual goals, needs and preferences.
